DD 243 is a code of practice for the installation and confirmation of intruder alarm systems designed to generate confirmed alarm conditions and includes for Automatic Re-Arming, Filtering and Substantiating Alarm Information. This applies to systems installed to BS4737 (Intruder Alarms in Buildings), BS7042 (High Security) or EN50131-1 (Alarm systems - Intrusion Systems - General requirements).
