CCTV Systems

As with all systems, products have their core strengths and we realise that one product will not be the best fit for all situations. We have therefore focused on a few manufacturers that cover the entire range of CCTV systems for any users requirements.

Evolution has installed hundreds of Digital CCTV systems to date and we believe that every single client has benefited from this type of installation. The larger Corporations using private Ethernet LAN's and WAN's can benefit the most from this type of technology as it can easily centralise the CCTV systems management location.

Today's cameras have also been improving in terms of image processing, more TV lines per picture, automatic light level compensation, size and cost. Cameras can now work underwater! With a vast arrange of fully functional dome cameras becoming affordable, most digital recorders have built in telemetry control to drive them already. The route to a fully-fledged CCTV system is becoming quicker and more cost effective every day.

Building infrastructure CAT5 cabling is also challenging the traditional method of connecting cameras to the recorder by using Co-axial cable. CAT5 is low cost, easy to install, and can be part of the internal fit-out project instead of a separate security installation. NVT products allow for signals to be sent over this cable for distances not normally allowed with coax unless amplifiers are used. NVT can also use telephone multi-pair cable that can save on installation time for the right project.
