John Wust has and will again this year be racing a motorcycle in the NG Road Racing calendar. His toy of choice this year is the Aprilia RSV-R, a 1000cc V-Twin that looks like this before being ‘converted’ for track use.

Once converted and on the track it looks a bit like this!
John is racing in the Sound of Thunder (SOT) championship and can be seen somewhere near the back of the grid at Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Donington Park and Pembrey throughout the year.

John used to race a Yamaha R1 and this photo shows a good knee down pose for the camera
To follow John during the year go to the web site for NG Road Racing.
Richard Lambert on the other hand, has been involved with racing cars in the historic class with his 1970 Lancia Fulvia 1600HF, but that has now been superseded with a charitable venture that involves a Citroen 2CV!
The Rosbifs and Snails 2CV Route du Soleil Tour took place in June 2007. It was an epic tour to the South of France in cars which should probably have been scrapped years ago being driven by gentlemen who ought to know better! The Tour raised over £80,000 for The Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust, which is more than three times the size of the previous largest donation and enabled the TVCAA to replace their ageing helicopter sooner than expected.
Flagged away by Ross Brawn, formerly Michael Schumacher’s highly successful Ferrari strategist and now the owner of his own team Brawn GP with Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello – winners of the 2009 F1 GP Constructors and Drivers Championship in their first year!
