ESSAR Power's recent acquisition of the Stanlow oil refinery near Ellesmere Port, the second largest in the UK, has given Evolution the opportunity to provide ESSAR with a site wide C-Cure access control system with remote server application support.

Evolution has been awarded the contract to roll-out Geutebruck Geviscope and Optex DN Cameras across the UK estates of a major telecommunications provider. The installations from Northern Scotland to Southern England will be remotely monitored and designed to BS-EN8418, providing early warning and recording of attempted copper cable theft, an increasingly expensive and recurring concern.

 

With two sites in Sweden and one in Norway completed for international business communications provider Verizon, Evolution has been awarded further projects Sweden, Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg. The projects include the upgrade of the existing access control, CCTV and intruder detection systems as part of a Europe-wide security enhancement strategy.

 

The Evolution Projects Department increases its project management manpower with the addition of James O'Brien to the Projects Team. James will be based in the Birmingham office.

Upon activation, signals will be received by the CCTV, Intruder and also the Crestron Home Entertainment System, with the ability to distribute live and recorded video over the internal network.

Evolution complete the installation of IDL turnstiles to the main entrance to the Gateway Sixth Form College in Leicester as part of a major refurbishment of building and a programme of security enhancements to the college.

 

An Evolution client for several years, StatoilHydro has completed the fit-out of their new offices in One Kingdom Street, Paddington Basin. Partnering with fellow C•Cure Enterprise partner Halfslund (Norway) StatoilHydro use a world-wide C•Cure Access Control System controlled from Norway with client stations at each satellite office.

 

A 'state of the art' Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), the first of it's type in Scotland is to be built in Dunoon near Glasgow. The ARC is dedicated to monitoring the safety of vulnerable individuals on the move and Evolution has been awarded the contract for the electronic security aspect. The site will conform to BS5979 ( CAT II) and will include monitored Intruder Detection Systems, an integrated Lenel Access Control System with Proximity/Biometric readers and a Lenel CCTV solution with external RedWall detection both operating on it's own independent I.T infrastructure.

 

Premier Foods has an annual group turnover of over £2.556 billion and owns food brands that are used by 99% of all households; these brands include such names as RHM. Evolution working in consultation with our guarding partner Legion Group plc has recently provided a comprehensive CCTV system for the Long Sutton manufacturing site. The solution used is the Geutebruck Re_Porter system. The CCTV system complements Legion guards for supplying comprehensive site security and is proving to be a useful health and safety tool.

Evolution have recently installed a CCURE Access Control System and Intellex Digital Recording System into the Plexus UK site based in the Scottish Borders of Kelso. The CCURE system now forms part of the Plexus Global network, which is controlled and administrated from their Worldwide HQ in Nennah, North America.

 

A new headquarters building in Paddington and remote site in Dublin for Misys, the global application software and services provider, has been installed with Lenel access control and CCTV by Evolution.  In consultation with Misys Evolution compiled the specification based on the Lenel's OnGuard Access Control, Visitor Management and Network Video Recording System with iClass SmartCards as this provided Misys with all the facilities they required using their IT network.

 

Evolution replace Telecity Redbus CCTV Recording Systems with rack mounted Geutebruck Re_Porter DVR's recording over 100 cameras across two networked sites.  Composite CCTV monitors are now replaced with 42" LCD monitors with images activated by alarm events.

New Thales offices in Bristol are now secured by Evolution. Thales approached Evolution for this project as we are a registered supplier of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection systems to many Goverment and hi-security related businesses.
