The former Arndale Shopping Centre, Wandsworth was officially re-opened by the internationally famous Cheeky Girls in May 2003. Along with it's smart new look the centre also has a new name Southside Wandsworth. Evolution were tasked with providing a state of the art digital CCTV system capable of providing 100% coverage of the Shopping Mall and surrounding Service Yards. The solution includes 28 high-speed colour X domes connected to the control room over CAT5 cable. All cameras are connected to and controlled by a Pelco matrix switcher in the Security Control Room with further control in the Management Centre. Images are recorded directly to hard disk using two16 channel Capture units, a remote review station is installed for viewing and backing images of interest directly to CD.
